What Is The ILC Program?
Our "Information Linkages & Capacity Building Program" provides targeted solutions to recurrent issues faced by People with Disabilities (PWD) and mental health.
The program will develop educational resources for the community to address knowledge gaps amongst rural and remote regions. It is a community engagement campaign that includes monthly outreach to identify needs in your community, and facilitate the co-design and feedback process of the self-advocacy toolkits.
ILC Toolkit Topics:
Always Available
The program is a multi-faceted approach where we aim to address these challenges by developing self-advocacy toolkits and delivering face-to-face community education workshops in your community, and webinars relevant to the toolkit topic(s) that will be recorded and made permanently available on the Rights in Action (RIA) website.
Designed For The Community
The toolkits are developed within your community and the consultation process will include engagement with local PWD, families, carers and service providers.
